How we know your Aqeeq is real

Our promise is simple: every stone we sell is natural agate, never dyed carnelian, never resin or glass, never heat-enhanced beyond gentle polishing. If a stone ever fails this test, we will refund it, no questions asked.

The checks we run

• Origin verification — we buy only from known suppliers in Yemen, Ethiopia, and Pakistan. No anonymous open-market stock.
• Visual inspection — banding pattern, colour distribution, edges, and internal veins are compared against reference stones from each origin.
• Thermal test — real agate is cool to the touch and warms slowly. Resin imitations warm instantly.
• Loupe check — under 10× magnification we look for the tell-tale surface pitting of dyed material and the parallel bubbles of glass.
• Independent lab on request — for high-value pieces we can arrange third-party gemological verification at cost.

What we won't do

• Sell dyed carnelian as "Yemeni Aqeeq".
• Sell reconstituted / pressed agate as natural.
• Claim spiritual or medicinal benefits we cannot substantiate.
