Our story & sourcing
A family workshop in Gujranwala since 2015.
Our workshop started 11 years ago, when Muhammad Qasim began sourcing Aqeeq stones for local jewellers in Gujranwala. What began as trade quickly became a specialisation: verifying origin, distinguishing dyed carnelian from genuine Yemeni Aqeeq, and finishing rough material by hand.
Where we source
- Yemen — the historical home of red Aqeeq. We work with long-standing trade contacts who supply verified Yemeni rough and finished cabochons.
- Ethiopia (Habsha) — the origin of Habashi Aqeeq. Deep oxblood tones, richer than the classic Yemeni honey-red.
- Pakistani mines — Multani Aqeeq, along with much of our Sulemani and Doodhiya stock, comes from local deposits, cut and finished in-country.
How we verify each stone
- Origin trace — every parcel comes from a known supplier, never anonymous open-market stock.
- Natural vs treated check — surface, banding, temperature response, and edge finish are inspected before purchase.
- Hand finishing — polishing is done at our own workshop, giving us a final chance to catch anything atypical.
