Aqeeq Size & Carat Calculator
Estimate the carat weight of a loose Aqeeq stone from its millimetre dimensions. Useful when planning a custom ring or comparing stones before you buy.
Assumes agate specific gravity ≈ 2.6. Real weight can vary ±10% depending on cut proportions, banding density, and polish.

How the estimate works
The tool uses the industry-standard gem weight formula: Weight (ct) = L × W × D × Specific Gravity × Shape Factor. Aqeeq (agate/chalcedony) has a specific gravity of about 2.60. Each shape has its own factor to account for the way material is removed during cutting.
